As a quality badge holder with Learning Outside the Classroom, we to aim to involve some form of outdoor learning in each of our sessions, always fun and cleverly disguised of course! Whether you’re just coming to let off steam or as part of a development programme, our staff can advise on the best activities for your group. Bushcraft

Refreshed for 2025! Get back to nature with our Bushcraft sessions. Learn how to be safe around fires, to build and manage your own fire and discover how to build a shelter to get you out of the elements!

Initiative tests

Take on a range of mental and physical tests designed to challenge. Teams are tasked with mini games spread across the estate where good communication is key and teamwork a must!

Minimum age: 7+

Low Ropes

Teams work together to navigate our low-level course. Each element is different and requires the team to complete a series of ropes, bridges, balance beams and wire-walks.

Minimum age: 4+

Recommended age: 4+


Midi-fencing

As one of our more unique activities, midi-fencing is a fantastic way to build focus, accuracy and lightning-fast reflexes whilst having fun. No previous fencing experience is required.

Minimum age: 4+

Recommended age: 7+


Night trail

Working as a team, you will need to navigate our course whilst blindfolded listening to the instructions given by your teammates. A great chance to improve communication skills and appreciate the challenges of sensory deprivation.

Obstacle course

Teams will guide each other through our challenging course filled with obstacles. A great way to develop skills in taking responsibility using communication in a challenging setting.

Pioneering

Work together and channel your creativity! Use your engineering skills to design and build a structure using lightweight poles and rope.

Minimum age: 7+

Recommended age: 7+


Tomahawk throwing

In this exciting new activity, you will be put through your paces testing skill and accuracy using throwing tomahawks. Learn a brand-new skill and put your concentration to the test.
