Friends of Hautbois

The Friends of Hautbois are a group of very enthusiastic people, both individuals and groups (such as Trefoil Guilds) who help out at Hautbois. They members of an exclusive "club" (which is open to all!), whose subscriptions help to provide for extras at Hautbois that we could not otherwise afford, such as the new chairs in the Hertfordshire room (pictured). They also hold fundraising events to bring in additional money. Friends of Hautbois also offer their time and labour to help us and enjoy events such as Leisure Week and exchange visits with other Friends' groups (eg Friends of Lorne).

There are numerous ways in which the Friends help at Hautbois, and we are deeply grateful to them for their continued support and assistance.

Projects

The Friends' generously support any projects ongoing at Hautbois, not only through fundraising, but also through donating their time and not inconsiderable skills to help us keep the House and Estate in good working order.

Gift Aid

Friends who are taxpayers can make additional money available at no extra cost! Simply by filling in a Gift Aid form that will enable us to reclaim the tax paid on the subscription money (and any additional donations that you may wish to make), which approximates to about an additional 28 pence in every pound given. The only requirement is that you are a taxpayer and pay Inland Revenue at least as much as you give to Friends.
